Veterans Champion Following an announcement in Parliament in October 2014, each council formally appointed a member if its council as the Local Authorities’ Veterans’ Champions. They act as a point of contact for anyone within their area who has any issues regarding Veterans and will consult with the NIVSC to provide advice and assistance. Belfast City Council web site does not list who their Veterans Champion is. Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council do not have information on their web site regarding a Veterans Champion you should contact them for details regarding this.
